This is a portrait I had taken of a friend of ours a couple of years ago and just never got around to doing anything with them. This were originally for a project we were doing at church when we were trying to take a picture of everybody in the congregation for a family photo album, or book. The idea never caught on they way we had intended with the congregation, everyone wanted a copy, but nobody wanted to be in it. Weddings are hectic enough when you’re the center of attention, how about adding some of the entertainment on top of that?

Spring is rapidly approaching here in Portland. Last week we had extreme cold and even had some snow. This week we’ve had rain. Lots and lots of rain. As I said, spring is on the way. And with the new season the pace of life begins to pick up too: weddings, graduations, babies and, dare I say it, spring cleaning. Now is the time to book those photo sessions to show your son or daughter in their caps and gowns.
